A more nuanced and antique take on the Pineau-finished rye profile. By bringing together both red and white Pineau des Charentes cask influence, conditioned with 80 year aged Sherry. this bottling has a more cellared, dusty character than the red-only expression. The rye spice is still present, but it is wrapped in notes of golden raisin, apricot, red berry, honeyed grape, candied ginger, vanilla cream, citrus peel, and soft oak spice, antique notes.
At a slightly lower proof, this expression feels approachable, elegant, and composed. The red Pineau gives depth and berry richness; the white Pineau brings brightness, floral sweetness, and a more graceful finish.
This is the most balanced and refined of the three, less brute force, more poise.
