Selected personally by Eboni Major out of dozens of barrels. A powerful, unadorned expression of 95% rye, bottled at full personality and full proof. This single barrel shows the grain in its purest architectural form: tall spice, dark sugars, polished oak, and a driving rye backbone. Expect notes of candied orange peel, mint, cinnamon bark, toasted grain, clove, dark caramel, and old-fashioned cocktail bitters, with a long, dry, warming finish. Distilled September 2016 and aged in Speyside cooperage. 9 years old.
