Five years ago, we discovered a tiny parcel of exceptional Kentucky bourbon—so compelling and so limited that we established a DSP largely for the opportunity to acquire it.

Distilled in 2005 from a 78% corn mash bill, this whiskey is believed to have originated as contract distillate intended for a prominent Kentucky distillery. Louisville bourbon legend Quyet La selected a giant new French oak cask for its extended maturation.

During the first year, the unusually large cask suffered significant seepage and loss. What remained was extraordinary, and we called it Seepin’ Beauty.

Seepin’ Beauty II is the second pull from that remarkable giant French oak cask. After 20 years of total aging, including five years in French oak, it was bottled at cask strength and without chill filtration. The result is a singular expression of mature Kentucky bourbon shaped by exceptionally prolonged French oak aging.
